Yes. These are two names for the same product category — the terms are used interchangeably by manufacturers and shoppers alike. "Bathroom paint" is a broader, looser term that doesn't always guarantee a fungicide in the formula.

Does Anti-Mould Paint Actually Work?
Yes — on the surface it's applied to. The fungicide built into Legacy Anti-Mould Paint stops mould spores germinating on that painted surface. That's a genuine, tested mechanism, not a marketing claim.
What it won't do is fix the reason mould was there in the first place. If a room has a genuine leak, or simply no ventilation, painting over it treats the symptom on that surface only — the moisture behind it is unchanged. That's exactly why we recommend pairing it with basic airflow: an extractor fan, or a window cracked after a shower.

How to Apply Legacy Anti-Mould Paint
Clean
Clean off any existing mould with a fungicidal wash and let the surface dry fully.

Address any leak or improve ventilation where you can — paint prevents regrowth, it doesn't replace airflow.
Apply & protect
